Spanning across the fertile soils of Konnowac Pass, Valicoff Estates has perfected the art of wine making with attention to detail that creates wines of incredible, award-winning caliber. Each day as we work in among the vines, we are treated to spellbinding views and breathtaking scenery that showcase the natural beauty that surrounds us among Eastern Washington and the Rattlesnake Hills.
In 2011, Rob and Stephanie planted Valicoff’s first wine grapes, starting with just 4 acres and a goal of making wine as a hobby. The plan was to make wine for themselves to share with family and friends, but they decided not to stop there. That’s where Valicoff Estates Wines began. The Rattlesnake Hills provide fertile soils and a great wine grape growing climate so they have continued planting more grapes. With such fine fruit, it made sense to trust Award Winning Winemaker Robert Smasne to share his talents and they hired him to create 4 varieties of wines. Varieties are all reds, and include Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah and a Blend.
